P.Vivek (51) and Chandrashekhar Atram (44) shared an opening stand of 95 thus enabling South East Central Railway (SECR) gain a 6 wicket win over Nirmal Urban Co-Op.Bank in the Corporate Cup (G.K.Kelkar T-20) Cricket Championship on the 2nd day at the VCA Civil lines ground here today.
Nirmal Urban Co-Op Bank who shocked AGRC yesterday were restricted for 126 off stipulated 20 overs by the Railwaymen today
Akshay Wadkar emerged the top scorer with 53 and received reasonable support from Kuldeep Salve (26) . Medium pacer Praful Meher (4/22) bowled a tight length to restrict the bankmen.
SECR with this win gained 4 points while Nirmal Urban Co-op Bank who gained 4 points against AGRC yesterday failed to secure anything today.

In the other encounters of the day AGRC who lost their opening encounter yesterday made good today by posting to a 10 wickets victory over JSW Steel Ltd at the VCA Civil lines ground later in the evening.
After dismissing JSW steel for a meager 54 off 17.4 overs AGRC openers Azar Sheikh (21 not out) and Akshay Kolar (29 not out) ensured victory in just 4.5 overs.
AGRC thus opened their account with 4 points while JSW Steel Ltd remained blank.

Later in the evening Central Railway also notched up a comfortable 9 wickets victory over MOIL at VCA Jamtha.
Moils electing to bat were cheaply dismissed for 59 off 17.3 overs with none of their batsmen reaching double digits. Shailesh Harbade (3/3) and Salil Agarkar (2/20) being the main wreckers.
Openers Amit Paunikar 27 and Praveen Shetty 29 led their side to victory not before losing the wicket of Praveen Shetty. Central Railway gained 4 points while MOIL remained nil

Earlier in the morning at VCA Jamtha, Union Bank registered a 10 wicket win over Axis Bank. Axis bank batting first failed miserably to be bundled out for 65 of 20 overs. Sanket Asare was the top scorer with 14 while Kapil Bhatra made 12. Spinner Ajay Yadav emerged the most successful bowler 5/20 for Union Bank, while paceman Siddesh Neral made the early breakthrough with 3/10.
Union Bank in reply notched the required winning score with openers R.Sanjay 36 and Viplay Junghare 26 remaining undefeated.
